This conference will explore practical, cost-effective approaches and methodologies that utilities can employ to reduce operating expenses in both the short and the long term, while preserving reliability performance and customer satisfaction and without unduly increasing potential liability. The focus will be on reducing the cost or increasing the value of inspections and preventative maintenance activities for overhead transmission assets as well as overhead and underground distribution assets. The conference will also address how to decrease technical losses. Presentations will be given by industry experts and leading utilities, providing practical methodologies that utilities will be able to implement both now and in the future to improve their inspection and preventative maintenance activities, reduce their operational costs or increase their value.
