Leading Volt Ampere Reactive.
Leading occurs in an AC circuit where the current and voltage are not in phase. In this type of circuit, the Apparent Power is specified in Volt-Amps, the real power in Watts, and the Reactive power in VAR (Volt-Amp-Reactance). Capacitive loads are leading (current leads voltage).
