For compliance with IEEE C62.41.2 Standard (± 6,000Vpk 3kA), Beckwith Electric offers the B-1953 6kV Surge Protection Module optional accessory. This module installs directly onto the M-6280A TB1 Terminal Block. The module is available for field installation or as a factory installed option.

• Surge protection is implemented to protect the following ports: AC Line, AC Neutral, Neutral Current, Load Current, Open and Close.
• Surge protection for both common and differential mode.
• Uses 20mm, 175V Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV) as the main component for r surge protection.
• All MOVs are covered by a metal enclosure to contain debris from damaged components.
