Critical Infrastructure Protection.

Critical infrastructure protection (CIP) is the requirement of every nation to protect its essential government, financial, energy, transportation, healthcare and other operations against terrorist activites and national disasters. In May of 1998, directive PDD-63 set up a United States program of “Critical Infrastructure Protection”.
