Loop Scheme or Loop Restoration Scheme.

A Loop Scheme is a combination of reclosers and/or switches which can isolate a fault,  A system of reclosers or switches that can sectionalize for a fault, remove the faulted section and restore power to other de-energized sections. To reduce the number of customers interrupted (CI) for an outage event, the process of identifying the fault location, then isolating that section, then restoring service to non-faulty sections via an alternate source.
