How does the M-7679 R-PAC ensure the integrity of the Firmware during an updating process?

The integrity of the Firmware is verified through an internal checksum comparison process. The internal processors of the M-7679 R-PAC compare calculated checksum before and after the firmware update process. If an error is found the unit will display the appropriate alarm message and also set an internal error flag that can be used to generate an event.
