Customer Technical Support Manager
Michael Thompson is the Customer Technical Support Manager at Beckwith Electric. He is responsible for managing the technical support team and its mission to meet and exceed customer support service needs and expectations. He is also responsible for managing Beckwith Electric’s RMA Department to ensure customer issues are resolved and future problems minimized. In addition, his role includes pricing strategy and management.
Thompson began his career at Beckwith Electric in 1997 in the Quality Department, advancing through positions of increasing responsibility. He continued to grow his extensive technical service and project management experience through roles including Product Validation Test Specialist, Product Support Manager, Lab Support Manager, and most recently, Power Systems Engineering Analyst. Before joining Beckwith Electric, he served as an Electronics Technician and Nuclear Reactor Operator for the U.S. Navy.
Thompson’s educational background includes training at the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School, the U.S. Navy ET Rating A School, the U.S. Navy Nuclear Prototype Training Units, the Forbes Road Career and Technology Center, and St. Petersburg College.
