Largo, Florida – April 6, 2012 – Beckwith Electric, a leading power and automation technology company, announced the appointment of Randal Carlton to Director of Customer Technical Support.

In this role, Randal will oversee, manage, and direct the delivery of Beckwith Electric’s customer technical support services. He will be responsible for Beckwith Electric’s commitment and focus to continually improve customer service.

Throughout his more than 35 year career, Randal has worked for various organizations to establish quality sales and support services, including Basler Electric, Magnetek, and Marathon Electric. His most recent experiences include serving as the Vice President of Marketing for Governors America Corp., where his leadership over quality sales, customer service and product development processes more than tripled the company’s business over a ten-year period.

Randal received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has extensive continuing education that includes study at St. Louis University, American Management Association, and Dale Carnegie. Randal is currently a member of the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) and presides as the Secretary for the Technician Certification Committee.
