Largo, Florida – October 12, 2011 – Beckwith Electric, a leading power and automation technology company, today announced the addition of Boris Vega as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast United States. He is based in Miami, Florida.

In his new position, Boris is responsible for overseeing the sales activities in the Southeast United States for Beckwith Electric’s technology including defining customer needs and assisting in refining these needs down to specific product functional and technical requirements. In this regard, his extensive electrical engineering and sales experience will prove invaluable to better fulfill our customers’ needs. He will work closely with Beckwith Electric sales representatives to present the clear message of the promise of Beckwith Electric technology to its customers.

Boris joins Beckwith Electric from ABB where he spent more than 20 years working in a variety of capacities including Regional Market Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Technical Manager, and Sales Engineer. Boris earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
