Largo, Florida – February 7, 2014 – Beckwith Electric, a leading power systems protection, automation and control solutions company, announced today it has hired Kevin Gerrish to the position of Director of Operations. Mr. Gerrish will oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and facilities area. He will be taking over for Steve Marcum, who will be retiring the end of February.

Mr. Gerrish brings with him over 20 years of experience in operations management, most recently as Vice President of Engineering at Cooper Notification. He has also held positions at Cobham Mission Systems, Sabtech Industries, and Cartwright Electronics, that included experience in operational management and excellence, and Lean and Six Sigma process management.

Mr. Gerrish received his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
