Sean Luong, Industrial Sales & Application Manager for Beckwith Electric

Largo, Florida – May 18, 2017 – Beckwith Electric, a leading power systems protection, automation and control solutions company, has announced Sean Luong as the Industrial Sales & Application Manager for the United States, Canada, Russia and the Middle East.

Mr. Luong will be responsible for business expansion within the industrial markets that serve the petroleum, natural gas, oil sands, chemical manufacturing and seawater desalination facilities. Mr. Luong will also provide sales account management, customer support, systems solutions, engineering services, field commissioning and training for industrial customers.

Mr. Luong has over 39 years of experience in serving the electric utility and petrochemical industries worldwide in various capacities. Previously, Mr. Luong was Managing Director for Laos Phatthana Cement Industry, Engineering Consultant for Beckwith Systems Engineering, President of Fortune Alliance, and President of Apollo Technologies. Mr. Luong also served 19 years at Beckwith Electric in various positions including Director of Beckwith Systems Engineering.

Mr. Luong will be working closely with Regional Sales Managers, Beckwith Sales Partners, Consultants, Specifying Engineers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Contractors, to further expand the industrial market share for Beckwith Electric. By utilizing Beckwith’s unique product designs and integrated systems applications, Mr. Luong will help maintain the critical operations of Beckwith’s customers and help them to reduce maintenance costs.

Mr. Luong earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in Saigon Vietnam, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in Florida. He is currently an IEEE Member and a regular participant of the IEEE IAS Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee.
