Wayne Hartmann, Beckwith Electric Senior Vice President of Customer Excellence, was recently honored with the 2018 IEEE PES Chapter Outstanding Engineer Award. The award was presented to Wayne by the IEEE PES IAS Florida West Coast Joint Chapter at their meeting on Friday, November 8, 2019, in Tampa, FL.

Wayne is very active as a Senior Member of IEEE, serving as a Main Committee Member of the Power System Relaying and Control Committee for over 25 years, and is Chair Emeritus of the Rotating Machinery Subcommittee (’07-’10). Wayne has contributed to numerous standards, guides, transactions, reports and tutorials, and teaching others at the IEEE T&D Conference and various local PES and IAS chapters.
