The M-2920A BecoEye® Infrared Communications Adapter provides communications between a laptop PC with or without an infrared port (or with an incompatible infrared port) and the Beckwith M-2501/M-2501A Autodaptive® Capacitor Controls. The M-2920A is an RS-232 serial communication adapter which transmits and receives data by 870 nanometer infrared open air communication. The device is powered by the host computer via a DIN 6-pin PS-2 type keyboard port.
